THE MUSIC BEHIND LEVEL-5’S NI NO KUNI: WRATH OF THE WHITE WITCH
Music plays an important role in a game’s sound design to help create an engaging player experience. This video showing the music behind upcoming RPG Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch proves Level-5 and Studio Ghibli understand that importance.
Composer Joe Hisaishi (who does most of Studio Ghibli’s musical scores for their films) will provide the music for the game. It’s haunting, beautiful music that really adds an extra layer to player experience that I can’t wait to experience in full when the game launches.
Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is scheduled to release this month on January 22, 2013 exclusively on PlayStation 3. You can still pre-order the game from Amazon to secure the bonus in-game familiar Griffy. A demo of the game is currently available on PSN.
